- 2003- Chairman, Reception Committee, 70th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, Belagavi-2003
- 2003- Chairman, 5th Akhil Bharat Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Belagavi
- 2011- Chairman of the Reception Committee for the mega event “Vishwa Kannada Sammelana” held at Belagavi
- Established and upgraded the KLE Centenary Convention Centre at the KLE J N Medical College Campus to provide a platform for performing arts and diverse stage events
- Spearheaded the upgradation of the Kannada Bhavan at Belagavi into a theatre that hosts dramas, screens films and provides a platform for promotion of Kannada Language and Culture.
- Established the “Prasarang”, the publications department at KLE Society
- Established 2 Community Radio Stations, one each at Hubballi and Belagavi to provide a platform for local talent
