Felicitation at the mega congregation of seers from across Karnataka who engaged in a discourse on the topic of “The role of seers in fostering education”. Happy to be accorded a special felicitation to mark my Amrit Mahotsava. The event which was held at the premises of R N Shetty Polytechnic, Naganurrudrakshimath, Shivabasavanagar was blessed by the divine presence of over 250 seers including Parampujya Shri Jagadguru Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji of Suttur Math, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Dr Shivamurti Shivacharya Mahaswamiji of Taralbalu Mahasamsthana Sirigere, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Dr Gurusiddha Rajayogendra Mahaswamiji of Jagadguru Moorusawirmath, Hubballi, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Dr Tontada Siddharama Mahaswamiji of Jagadguru Tontadarya Samsthanmath, Gadag, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Nadoj Dr Annadaneshwara Mahaswamiji of Annadaneshwar Samsthanmath Mundaragi, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Panchama Shivalingeshwar Mahaswamiji of Jagadguru Siddhasamsthanmath, Nidasosi, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Dr Mallikarjun Murugharajendra Mahaswamiji of Bekkinkalmatha, Shivamogga, Paramapujya Shri Jagadguru Kotturu Basavalinga Mahaswamiji of Jagadguru Kotturswamimath, Hosapete Halakere, Parampujya Shri Dr Jayasiddeshwar Shivacharyaru of Hiremath, Gaudagaon, Solapur and others. Renowned litterateur Shri Go.Ru.Channabasappa was also present. Ex-MLC and Member of Board of Management, KLE Society, Shri Mahantesh Kavatagimath welcomed the gathering. Pooja Shri Mahant Devaru of Shegunashi conducted the proceedings. “Kannada Ratna”, a book profiling the work and contributions of Dr Prabhakar Kore in the promotion of the culture, language and tradition, Karnataka authored by Shri B S Gavimath, Former Director, KLE Prasarang was released on the occasion.
