108th Foundation Day of KLE Society

” It is amazing to note the amazing range of multidisciplinary educational services being provided by KLE Society and the fact that the organization has provided quality healthcare services to one crore thirty lakh patients”, said Dr Ravindra Kulkarni, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Mumbai University.
He was addressing the gathering as Chief Guest at the 108th Foundation Day of KLE Society at the KLE JN Medical College Campus, Belagavi. Dr Kulkarni also made reference to the rapid influx of technology, especially digitization and artificial intelligence and called upon the gathering to implement and internalize these efficient tools for impactful grooming of the youth. He spoke about the importance of industry-academia collaborations, a strong alumni connect, internationalisation of learning and the focus on sustainable development.
Addressing the gathering I highlighted the accomplishments of KLE both in education and healthcare and paid tributes to the Founding Fathers and their sacrifices.
On this occasion Chief Guest Dr Ravindra felicitated the students and faculty of across institutions of KLE Society for their accomplishments in academics, sports and co-curricular activities over the past year. 90 gold medals, 49 silver medals and 7 institutional trophies were presented. 8 trophies were awarded to schools and colleges that had excelled in sports and cultural events during the Dr Prabhakar Kore Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. 8 staff members and 2 nursing staff members were also felicitated.
Shri Mahantesh Koujalagi, President KLE Society delivered the presidential remarks. Members of the Board of Management KLE Society, Heads of Institutions, Staff, Students, Members of the Press and well wishers were present.
