109th Foundation Day of KLE Society

“Education is a powerful tool for bringing positive change in society and achievements of the KLE Society are proof of the same”, said Shri Shri V Somanna, Honorable Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways as he graced the occasion as Chief Guest of the 109th Foundation Day celebration of KLE Society at the Convention Centre was held at KLE JN Medical College, KLE University , Belagavi. Applauding the efforts of Dr Prabhakar Kore, Honorable Chairman, KLE Society over his 4 decades of leadership, he wished KLE the very best for its onwards journey and said that he looked forward to KLE Society emerging as the leading institution in providing quality education, healthcare and research in India.Speaking on the occasion, I shared the story of the evolution of KLE since its inception by the 7 noble and visionary teachers, “Saptarishis” and the founder patrons in 1916. I also lauded the efforts and commitments of several generations of members of the KLE family who have contributed to the growth of the organization into a global entity along with its prominence as a provider of quality services in India. The audience was appraised about the 300 beds, state of the art KLE Cancer Hospital which will be inaugurated by the Honorable President of India in December 2024.Guest of Honour, Dr Purvez Grant, Managing Trustee and Chief Cardiologist was all praises for the contributions and the achievements of KLE Society. He called for an increased technological integration in order to keep pace with the the rapidly evolving needs of time.Shri Mahantesh Koujalagi, President, KLE Society presided. Members of the Board of Management, KLE Society, Dr B G Desai, Secretary, Board of Management, KLE Society, Heads of various institutions, Members of the staff, students and well wishers were present.On the occasion the staff and students of KLE Society’s institutions were felicitated for their accomplishments at the national and international levels.
