49th Pattabhisheka Mahotsava of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade

49th anniversary celebration of enthronement of D. Veerendra Heggade as Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmadhikari at Dharmasthala, on Monday, October 24 and I was fortunate to be the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion.

Poojya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade a Padmashree Awardeee made pioneering efforts in rural development and creating awareness among rural masses on cleanliness and helping empowerment of women through Self-Help Groups. 

Hon’ble Mujrai Minister Shri R.M. Lamani, MLA Shri K. Vasanth Banger, MLC K. Abhayachandra Jain, Former Minister Hemavathi Heggade Swamiji, and many dignitaries present on the occasion , Author Bangadi Raviraj Ballal, and many more dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The contributions of Dr. Heggade in fostering art, education, literature and culture are admirable and my best wishes for Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala to become a global pilgrim centre.
