8th Convocation – KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER)

‘Indian educated youth are the strength of the nation and today’s youth are compassionate and sensitive to the issues engulfing society’ said Smt. Mridula Sinha, Her Excellency, Governor of Goa while delivering the Convocation Address as Chief Guest at the 8^th Convocation of KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (KAHER). Speaking on the occasion, she applauded the role of KLE Society for playing a pivotal role in imparting education and providing healthcare services with state of the art facilities, at affordable cost. 

At the Convocation, 1290 candidates were awarded Degrees and these included 18 Ph. D, 12 Post-doctoral, 348 Post-Graduate, 754 Under-Graduate, 121 PG Diplomas, 28 Certificate Courses, 6 Fellowship Programs and 3 Diplomas.

Dr. Vivek A. Saoji, Vice-Chancellor, presented brief report on the accomplishments of KAHER and congratulated the students for their performance. Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chancellor, Dr. V. D. Patil, Dr. C. K. Kokate, members of the Board of Management of KLE Society, Heads of institutions of KAHER, staff and students were present on this occasion.
