The annual Cake Expo at the KLE Graduate School of Hotel Management & Catering Technology is a flagship event that showcases student talent and creativity. This year’s edition, themed “The Glacier Season 5,” was inaugurated by Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Honourable Chairman of KLE Society. Dr. Nitin Gangane, Vice Chancellor of KAHER, Dr. M. S. Ganachari, Registrar of KAHER, and other university officials were present. For the first time, the expo was open to the public and received an overwhelming response. One of the key highlights was a live cake-making demonstration, allowing visitors to witness the process up close. The event displayed over 150 unique cake varieties, all crafted by KLE students in collaboration with RICHS. To enhance the experience, the venue featured glacier-themed decor and interactive sessions led by faculty and industry experts. As a result, the expo successfully blended hospitality education with public engagement, reinforcing KLEGSHMCT’s commitment to experiential learning.
