“NEW INDIA , WE RESOLVE TO MAKE ” EXHIBITION-CUM-SEJMINAR inaugurated on 14th September 2017

In memory of completion of 75 years of "Quit India Movement" – A jointly organized exhibition by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, BEML, Ministry of Defense, Department of Publicity Information and Broadcasting,  was inaugurated on 14th September 2017 by Hon'ble  Union   Minister Shri. Ananthkumar, Shri. P. Ashok Gajapatiraju. The exhibition for 4 days at Sardars' Ground, College Road, Belagavi depicts Historical events of Freedom Movement, Freedom Fighters and achievements of the country.

Free Health Camp at Ankali on 1st August, 2017

As part of the continual commitment to the welfare of rural citizens, healthcare professionals from KLE Society's institutions conducted a Free Health Camp at Ankali on 1st August, 2017 to mark the 70th birthday of Rajya Sabha MP and KLE Society Chairman Dr Prabhakar Kore. Meeting with Hon'ble Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Dr. Harsh Vardhan ji along with Honorable Shri Pralhad Joshiji,Shri. Suresh Angadiji and Shri. PC Gaddigoudarji and briefed him about the Hubballi Ankola Railway project. He assured to expedite the matter. The Hon'ble Minister was also informed about the problems encounteres in seeking clearance from the Forest department for sanctioning 178 acres of land to Rani Chennamma University, Belagavi. The Minister has promised to look into the matter .
