KAHER Education Expo 2025 Spotlights Allied Health Careers

The KAHER Education Expo 2025 opened today at the KLE Centenary Convention Centre, JNMC campus, Belagavi. Organized by the KLE School of Allied Health Sciences, the two-day event aims to raise awareness about career options in Allied Health Sciences, especially for students seeking alternatives beyond NEET.

Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chairman of KLE Society and Chancellor of KAHER, inaugurated the expo. He encouraged students to consider emerging roles in healthcare that align with national and global demand. “Skilled healthcare professionals are the backbone of a healthy society. KLE is proud to support their journey,” he said.

Dr. Nitin M. Gangane, Vice-Chancellor of KAHER, also addressed the gathering. He stressed the urgent need for well-trained Allied Health professionals. Along with him, Dr. M. S. Ganachari, Registrar of KAHER, and Dr. Urmila Kagal, Principal of the school, shared valuable insights. Together, they urged students to make informed and confident career choices.

Throughout the event, students visited various stalls showcasing key Allied Health programs. These included Physiotherapy, Medical Imaging Technology, Anesthesia Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Pharmacy, and Nursing. Each stall offered interactive displays, live demonstrations, and personal guidance from faculty members.

Moreover, parents and school groups from across North Karnataka actively participated in the expo. Many appreciated the one-on-one counseling and practical orientation. “This expo helped us understand careers we had never considered,” shared a student from a local PU college.

In addition, the event gained traction on Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. Students posted photos, videos, and testimonials, expanding the expo’s reach online.

The KAHER Education Expo 2025 will conclude on April 5. By then, it will have inspired hundreds of students to explore meaningful, skill-based healthcare careers that are essential for the future.
