Raising the Bar: NABH Accreditation of KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital
KLE Hospital NABH Accredited—this recognition is a major milestone in Belagavi’s journey toward healthcare excellence. As a leading NABH-certified hospital in North Karnataka, it demonstrates world-class standards in patient safety, clinical outcomes, and service quality.
The hospital’s quality journey began in 2016 with a Safe I assessment. It laid the groundwork for structured quality enhancement. Over the years, the hospital underwent multiple NABH Entry Level assessments, completed six NABL certification cycles, and passed a QCI audit for ECHS empanelment.
To prepare for full NABH accreditation in 2025, the hospital developed over 120 policies and 60 detailed manuals. Additionally, staff from all departments—including clinical, administrative, and support—received rigorous training in line with NABH standards.
As a result, the hospital significantly improved service efficiency, patient satisfaction, and overall institutional performance. The accreditation not only boosts internal accountability but also builds community trust.
