Furthermore, Dr. Shivaprasad Goudar guided targeted discussions on academic, clinical, and research priorities. These conversations opened new possibilities in oncology education and service enhancement. They also emphasised the value of continuous innovation in cancer care and medical training.
Meanwhile, KLE Society continues to expand its healthcare infrastructure under the leadership of Dr. Prabhakar Kore. With a strong commitment to affordable cancer care, the Society has established a state-of-the-art 300-bed cancer hospital in Belagavi. The facility offers medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services. It also delivers rehabilitation and palliative care, ensuring holistic support for patients and families. Moreover, the institution functions as an active research centre, which helps advance treatment quality and community health outcomes.
As collaborations deepen, KLE strengthens both its educational ecosystem and its clinical capabilities. Through these alliances, the institution gains new knowledge, upgraded skills, and broader research opportunities. Such meaningful research enhances public health and supports welfare policies that benefit society.
Ultimately, the KLE Jefferson Collaboration reinforces KLE’s mission to build an innovative, globally connected, and future-ready healthcare environment.
