
The KLE Society 110th Foundation Day celebration took place at the KLE Centenary Convention Centre, Belagavi. The atmosphere was filled with pride and gratitude.
Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore welcomed guests and reflected on the Society’s journey. He paid tribute to the Saptarishis, the seven visionary founders. Their mission focused on strengthening society through education and service.
Dr. Kore thanked donors, faculty members, and well-wishers. He noted that teacher participation continues to guide the institution’s decisions. This democratic approach shaped KLE into a growing global ecosystem.
The year also marked major milestones. The first Agriculture College in North Karnataka began operations in 2025. Additionally, Dr. Kore announced a 1000-bed KLE Hospital and Medical College in Hubballi. With this, KLE’s healthcare strength will reach 5,400 beds. He also shared plans to open more hospitals and expand access to healthcare in the region.
Chief Guest Dr. M. R. Jayaram praised KLE Society for its contribution to education and nation-building. He encouraged the establishment of a STEM University to support India’s growth in science and innovation.
Later, Shri Swami Bodhmayanand Maharaj from Ramakrishna Math highlighted the balance between spiritual and modern knowledge. He emphasized the need for values in education.
Finally, the celebration included the felicitation of outstanding students and staff. Shri Mahantesh Koujalagi, President of KLE Society, presided over the event. Leaders, faculty, alumni, and students attended in large numbers.
