Meeting with Honorable Union  Minister for Road Transport & Highways in the Government of India, Shri Nitin Gadkariji in context of highway projects in North Karnataka with specific reference to NH548B from Vijayapur to Athani Taluka and the border roads that connect Miraj in Maharashtra to Gotur and Kagwad in Karnataka. These are especially significant in terms of the welfare of people in the Athani and Chikodi region, especially considering the fact that the region has around 16 Sugar Factories that depend on this infrastructure.
