The Kannada Balaga of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) hosted its annual celebration Nityotsava 2025 KAHER Kannada Balaga at the KLE Centenary Convention Centre, JNMC Campus. The event brought together students, faculty, and cultural enthusiasts for a memorable evening of performances and community spirit.
Veteran Kannada actor Shri Doddanna S attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Hon. Chancellor, KAHER and Chairman of KLE Society, joined as Guest of Honour, making Nityotsava 2025 KAHER Kannada Balaga a significant milestone for the institution.
A proud moment of the celebration was the foundation stone laying ceremony of Kannada Bhavana. This upcoming cultural landmark on the JNMC campus will stand as a tribute to Kannada heritage, literature, and identity.
During his address, Shri Doddanna highlighted the timeless beauty of the Kannada language and encouraged the youth to protect and cherish cultural roots. He also praised KLE Society for its transformational impact in education across South India.
Dr. Prabhakar Kore shared his aspirations for Kannada Bhavana and expressed that Nityotsava 2025 KAHER Kannada Balaga reflects the institutionโs commitment to cultural heritage along with academic excellence.
The event included energetic dance, music, theatre, and poetry performed by KAHER students and staff. The evening also marked the installation of the new office bearers of Kannada Balaga (2025โ26).
