KLE Hospital Hubballi Hosts Health Camp and Inaugurates Day-Care Unit

On March 6, 2025, KLE Hospital Hubballi conducted a large-scale free Community Health Camp, reaffirming its commitment to community wellness. The camp also marked the inauguration of a newly established Day-Care Unit designed to provide efficient and accessible outpatient services. Doctors from KLE JGMM Medical College offered free consultations and basic treatments across key disciplines including General Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Dentistry. Residents from surrounding areas benefited from the camp, which blended medical care with public service.

His Holiness Shri Jagadguru Gurusidda Rajayogindra Mahaswamiji inaugurated the health camp and facility. DR Prabhakar Kore, Honourable Chairman KLE Society presided over the function. Among the dignitaries present were Shri Shankaranna I. Munavalli, Chairman of the Local Governing Body, and Dr Nitin Gangane, Vice Chancellor of KAHER. The event also welcomed Dr V. D. Patil (Director, NP & HD), Dr M. G. Hiremath (Principal, KLE JGMM Medical College), and Dr Dayananda (MD & CEO, Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital, Belagavi). Senior officials, directors, administrators, and department heads from various KLE Society institutions participated actively in the event.

The health camp reflects KLE Society’s broader mission of expanding medical access to underserved and rural areas. Since the opening of its first hospital in 1986, the Society has grown to manage over 4,500 hospital beds, including 1,000 for charitable services. The upcoming 1,000+ bed KLE Hospital Hubballi will further strengthen this mission. Alongside inpatient care, it will conduct outreach camps and run satellite healthcare units to reach remote communities.

Led by the vision of Dr Prabhakar Kore, KLE continues to redefine healthcare delivery in Tier II cities—balancing quality, affordability, and social commitment.
