Inaugurated the 12th International Congress of the Society for Ethnopharmacology, and International Conference on Innovations in Drug Technology & Phytopharmaceuticals at Belagavi. It was held at the KLE Centenary Convention Centre, KLE J N Medical College campus. Several eminent scientists, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts from across the globe attended.

Mukherjee, Founder SFE India, Prof. Namrita Lall, President, International Society for ethnopharmacology, Kolkata, Dr. C.K, Katiyar, Indraneel Das, Vice-President , International Society for ethnopharmacology, Kolkata, Prof. Rudolf Bauer, ISE Switzerland, Dr. Subarna Roy, Director, ICMR Belagavi, Dr. Nitin M. Gangane, Vice – Chancellor, KAHER, Dr. M.S Ganachari, Registrar, KAHER, Belagavi, Dr. Sunil S Jalalpure, Principal, KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi and Dr. Pramod Hurkadale were present.

The conference aimed at creating a global platform for discussions on sustainable utilization of medicinal plants, evidence-based validation of traditional knowledge, and integration of ethnopharmacological research with modern drug discovery. Around 700 participants, from India and 21 other countries, actively participated.
