Speaking at the AOMSI conference, at Belagavi, Dr Prabhakar Kore mentioned that “We deserve the best of healthcare at affordable costs, and that too at our doorsteps.”
This vision has guided Prabhakar Kore’s efforts to strengthen accessible and specialised healthcare through KLE Society.
He inaugurated the 13th Annual Conference of the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), Karnataka Chapter, in Belagavi.
The conference highlighted the growing importance of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in advancing specialised dental and surgical care.
Strengthening Oral and Maxillofacial Healthcare
Oral cancer remains a significant healthcare concern in North Karnataka. This makes specialised expertise in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery particularly important for the region.
KLE Cancer Hospital provides advanced treatment facilities for patients requiring comprehensive cancer care. The growth of specialised services has transformed healthcare access across North Karnataka.
Prabhakar Kore recalled a time when Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons were not readily available in the region. Today, patients can access highly specialised professionals and advanced treatment facilities closer to home.
