“Swacch Bharat Mission”
The KLE Centenary commemorations comprise a series of initiatives that represent both a symbolic and an ongoing commitment to the cause of national development. The Swacch Bharat mission, a dream project of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji is more a philosophy to be inculcated as part of an individual’s being.
It was a matter of great pleasure to be able to contribute our little bit and I participated along with members of the KLE Family comprising Board Members, Life Members, Heads of Institutions, Faculty and students participated in a Cleanliness drive at Hubballi on 8th Nov 2016. The trash collected was handed over to the Municipal authorities and their efforts at ensuring sanitation through the year was acknowledged.
The mammoth task of cleaning up the living and transit places is a responsibility of every citizen and the least we can contribute is to do our little bit to both the cleaning operations and the generations of awareness to make sanitation a way of life for every citizen.
